Miriam Hoffman, Assistant Editor
Miriam is a current sophomore at IVCC in the Ag Transfer Program. She graduated from Earlville High School in 2018, where she was active in National Honor Society, Scholastic Bowl, and served in leadership positions in the FFA up to the state level. After graduating from IVCC, Miriam plans to transfer to Southern Illinois University Carbondale where she will work towards a Bachelor’s in Agribusiness Economics with a focus on Energy and Environmental Policy. Her passions for people, writing, and agriculture have led her to heavy involvement with the IVCC Ag Club and the IV Leader, as well as the community of LaSalle-Peru as a team member at Ax Church. She spends most of her free time reading, working out and listening to thought-provoking podcasts, and staying active on her family’s diversified crop and livestock farm.
