Micaela McGinley began writing for the IV Leader in the 2014 Fall semester. Her interests in writing and photography were the main things that drove her to approach the newspaper. She plans to earn an Associate of Arts degree at IVCC and then transfer to Loyola University Chicago in the Fall of 2015. It is at Loyola where she will apply the skills she has learned from her time on the newspaper and in her Reporting class to further her Journalism endeavors. Micaela enjoys reading Hemingway novels, painting, attending concerts, and taking part in the IVCC Honors Program.
