NFL All-Pro offensive 1st team 2022 overview

After a few weeks of wrapping up the 2022 NFL regular season, the All-Pro teams list has been released.

Logan Bland, Sports columnist

QB: Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs

RB: Josh Jacobs, Raiders

TE: Travis Kelce, Chiefs

WR: Justin Jefferson, Vikings, Tyreek Hill, Dolphins, Tae Adams, Raiders

LT: Trent Williams, 49ers

LG: Joel Bitonio, Browns

C: Jason Kelce, Eagles

RG: Zack Martin, Cowboys

RT: Lane Johnson, Eagles

I talked to IVCC freshman student Jake Gerding regarding his opinions on the teams.

Gerding felt the list as a whole was well voted. “The only thing I may change is Nick Chubb over Josh Jacobs,” he said. “But with Josh winning the rushing title it could go either way.”

In my opinion, this list is perfect. You have the best quarterback in the NFL on the Chiefs along with the best tight end in Travis Kelce.

The only thing that I look at and question is the left tackle and center position. Trent Williams, year in and year out, is always the best lineman in football, but he missed a few games with an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Andrew Thomas of the New York Giants played a great full season. The center position allows for the same question. Jason Kelce, who it seems every year is the best center in football, is listed, but I think Creed Humphrey, again for the Chiefs, deserved a shot for his great second straight season.
