Chicago Bulls season preview

Logan Bland, Sports columinst

The Chicago Bulls 2022- 23 schedule was released recently, and there are some key dates for fans to note. Kicking the season off right away they face last year’s No. 1 seed and Eastern conference hopefuls the Miami Heat on Oct. 18 and it does not get easier.
They go on to face the surprising Cleveland Cavaliers followed by the Eastern Conference champions Boston Celtics. Other important dates include Nov. 23 for the first of four against division rival and playoff rematch Milwaukee Bucks and Dec. 2, when the Bulls face off against the defending champions Golden State Warriors. An important note, after a lackluster three nationally televised games and a few flexes here and there last season, the Bulls have at least 14 nationally
televised basketball games in the upcoming season, according to NBA.com. The Bulls should benefit from Illinois product Ayo Dosunmu entering his second year after being named to all rookie 2nd team along with a hopefully healthy Lonzo Ball (coming off a torn meniscus). In addition, Patrick Williams worked out all off-season with the likes of teammate Demar Derozen and LA Clippers star Paul George. These improvement should make the 44.5 win total stated by ESPN.com an easy over.
