Men’s, women’s basketball return

After a yearlong delay caused by the coronavirus pandemic, men’s and women’s basketball has returned to Illinois Valley Community College.

After opening up at home on Nov. 2 against Morton, the Eagles return to action at home on Saturday, Nov. 6.

The women’s team hosts Illinois Central College at 1 p.m. Saturday while the men play ICC at 3 p.m.

Sophomore returners for the women’s team include Kenzie Coleman, Alyx Carls, Christine Senica, Maddie Grandsart, Maddy Freeman, Paige Champlin and Meredith Sidwell.

Sophomore returners for the men include Braden Edington and Reggie Loury.
