The men’s soccer team recently has picked up its first two wins of the 2019 season.

On Sept. 30, the team won a 3-2 contest vs. Lincoln Land Community College on their home field at LaSalle’s Rotary Park.

The Eagles goals were scored by Eddie Perez, Oscar Pizano and Pumi Maphumulo.

Pizano and Krystian Nikolov recorded assists in the game.

Then, on Oct. 2, the team followed that win with another vs. Rock Valley by a closely contested 2-1 score.

Pizano and Maphumulo scored goals for the Eagles.

Bayron Cruz and Nikolov recorded assists during the contest, which was in Rockford.

The Eagles are 2-6 overall as of press time.
