The Lady Eagles’ Volleyball team took the home court for the final time this season on Oct. 21 for their annual Dig Pink Night.
Dig Pink is a month-long breast cancer rally for the organization Side-Out, which occurs in October each year. According to their Web site http://www.side-out.org/ “The Side-Out Foundation is a support and advocacy organization dedicated to making a significant and identifiable difference in the lives of breast cancer patients”

Dig Pink Night is growing in popularity at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels as a way to raise money for the cause during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Dig Pink Night, while raising money for breast cancer awareness, was also Sophomore Night.
Sophomore players Amy Rogowski, Lindsay Gerding, and Brianna Huss were honored before the game for their contributions to the team.

The IVCC Lady Eagles faced the Joliet Junior College Lady Wolves, and the match went to five games. IVCC won the first two games 25-9 and 25-21 respectively.
