Lady Eagles soar to nationals

The IVCC Women’s Tennis team is off to Nationals.

The Lady Eagles will compete in the Division III National Championship Tournament in New York on the U.S. Open Courts.

Sophomores Kayla Guenther, Bianca Sutton, and Kaylee Sienza say they feel comfortable and confident after a 7-1 season.

The team believes a lot of their success lies in the work that is put in not only by the athletes but also by the coaching staff.

Coach Milota’s dedication and commitment was recognized at the last board meeting by receiving a $3,000 stipend for her coaching duties.

The team gave a lot of credit to Milota and Guenther for their success this season.

The tournament will take place Oct. 22-24.
