Lady Eagles drop 9 spots in current national ranking

Last week, the IVCC Lady Eagles were ranked ninth in the country and first in the region. A rough month of February took its toll on the team’s ranking, as losses to Kishwaukee College and Black Hawk College has dropped the team 9 spots to 18th overall in the country.

Teams in the region that are now ranked above IVCC are Kishwaukee College and South Suburban College. IVCC did beat South Suburban College on Jan. 7 67-58. A rematch against Kishwaukee on the road awaits the team on Feb. 18.

But first they’ll have to take care of business at home on Sophomore night against Black Hawk East Feb. 16.
