Graduating IVCC; a fond farewell

This December I graduate from IVCC. As I move forward with my life I will look back on my time here fondly.

The experiences I had here have shaped my life in many ways.

I have matured quite a bit since my first semester as a 16 year-old. I have learned so much about myself and about life.

In a couple of my favorite classes, I built relationships with some pretty great people. Without those classroom experiences, I would not have made the decision to pursue a degree and career in creative writing.

IV has provided a great atmosphere for me to decide what I want out of life. I have had a few very good classes and a couple not-so-good ones, but I would not change a minute of my time as an IVCC student.

Now, as I say goodbye to this school, I know I will miss it. But I am grateful for all of the experiences and adventures which have brought me to this place.

To anyone thinking about attending IVCC—go for it! You will learn a lot and have a great time doing it.
