Welcome back and hello to the new students! The new semester has already started and organizations are having their first meetings of the semester. It’s not too late though!! If you are a student then you should get involved. Think you are too old? You are never too old to get involved or have fun! What better way to get involved and have fun then at your college doing the things you love!
Organizations at IVCC vary from organizations about rights like the GSA (Gay Straight Alliance), to GEOCATCHING, all the way to SPAMO (Students of Performing Arts and Music Organization) that lets you express yourself through activities like Improv and Show Choir. There is so much more then that though! We have a lot of great activities here at IVCC and so many to pick from.
So everyone should come on out after your classes or even between them, Wednesday- September 11th from 9am to 2 pm in the courtyard. There will be so much to do and so much to get involved in that you’ll wonder where your time went.
I am very involved at IVCC and I do not regret one minute of it!! I love everything I do here, including SPAMO and the IVLEADER. It really is worth the time to stop by.
If you can’t make it to spirit day but are interested in SPAMO then stop by the Fireplace lounge (B-216) September 19th at 4pm and meet fun energetic people just like you! We don’t bite…well mostly.
So get involved, we’d love to have you! Remember the more involved you are the more time flies so don’t regret it just go for it!
What Time is It? School Time!
