On March 23, Grace McCormick, a community educator and face of Safe Journeys, came to IVCC to speak on sex trafficking, what it is, how to recognize it, how to report it, and how to recover from it.
This brown bag lunch meeting was one of the multiple events that IVCC holds to celebrate and recognize Women’s History Month.
McCormick went through scenarios with the students and gave them advice and resources for anything related to trafficking including prevention, warning signs, and hotlines.
