IVCC Poetry Contest to Celebrate Women’s History Month

Women’s History Month begins on March 1 and IVCC is celebrating all month long! The theme for this month is “The Women Who Inspire Us.”

Delores Robinson and Sigma Kappa Delta are sponsoring the Sigma Kappa Delta art and writing contest being held in honor of Women’s History Month.

The guidelines for this contest are relatively open for creativity. Students are able to submit photos, poetry, short stories, essays, paintings, or other artistic endeavors that relate in some way to the theme of women who inspire us.

All entries are due by March 16. They can be submitted in person to room A-314 or A-328 or via email to either Sigma Kappa Delta co-advisor, [email protected] or [email protected]. If entries are emailed, please use subject line “WHM Contest”.
