IVCC’s spring graduation ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 20 at 2:30. A graduation practice will be held in the gym on Thursday, May 18, also at 2:30 in the gym.

Mark Grzybowski, Associate Vice President for Student Services, spoke about the importance of graduation.

“Graduation is the celebration of success that displays the determination and hard work of students,” he said. “Over the years I’ve talked to a lot of people that have said they wish they would have stayed to get their degree.”

From the perspective of soon-to-be graduate, Tyler Clark provides his own personal insight on what graduating means to him.

“Graduating to me is just one of the many stepping stones in life that will help me as my path continues,” he said. “Graduating college is definitely one that will help me keep my footing as I keep stepping and not leaving any stones unturned.”

Former IVCC student Kaitlyn Ranieri will be the keynote speaker as the recipient of the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship from Zonata International. She is one of 12 winners worldwide.
