Students can register for fall, summer

Students can now begin talking to counselors and planning for 2017 summer and fall semesters.

Summer registration begins online at 9 a.m. Wednesday April 5. Online registration for fall registration is 9 a.m. April 11.

To register over the phone or in person, students can call or go to Records and Registration in CTC 101 on Wednesday, April 11 at 1 a.m. You can also register at the front desk at the Ottawa Center.

Records and Registration is open from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday and 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

Most counselors and students advise to do online registration. To register for classes on the web, students can use IVCC’s WebAdvisor system. WebAdvisor accounts become open to students immediately after applying to IVCC.

There will be assistance with WebAdvisor made available in the Learning commons in D-201 or available over the phone at 815-224-0318.

Students can also mail or fax registration paperwork in. According to IVCC’s website, “registrations will be processed on a first come, first serve basis.”

The mailed and faxed registrations will be processed the afternoon of the first day of registration, provided it is neat and filled out completely.

More information about these forms can be found on IVCC’s website.
Students should have a list of their desired classes ready, including the course ID and section number (ENG 1001-03, for example).

They should also be prepared to give their name, address and social security number or student ID number.
