IVCC’s Jacobs Library was awarded an Another Opportunity for Back to Books Grant for $5,000.00 by the Illinois State Library this spring.

The grant was awarded to allow Jacobs Library to purchase books on subjects in Technology to support the programs taught in IVCC’s new Community Technology Center.

These new library items range in purpose from home repair guides to detailed technical books.

There are even some how-to books on creating a business start-up for the technological entrepreneur.

Books on electronics, mobile device programming, vehicle technologies, renewable energy, Arduino, 3D printing, mechatronics, and other related subjects, have been added to the main collection at Jacobs Library, some of which are currently on display.
