Students give opinions on new student space

While the IVCC administration is currently evaluating what to do with the now vacant Counseling Center, the IV Leader staff turned to social media to get students’ opinions on what to do with the space.
The school’s plan is to transform the area into a “student life” space.
IV Leader’s Facebook page and the IVCC Confessions Facebook page were used to ask students what they feel should be added. These are some of the responses:
- “Maybe a couple tvs for vidya games? That’d be mighty cool.” – Andrew Busken
- “Lockers! Beds?” – Robin Louise Dunlap Sessler
- “Maybe put the tutoring center in there instead of putting them in a tiny corner in the computer lab” – Jerold E. Young
- “It would be a better place for a tutoring center… But I wouldn’t complain if they put a coffee shop in either” – Marisa Chupp
