Children’s auditions for the Illinois Valley Community College theatre department production of the musical “Gypsy” will be Jan. 22 at 4 p.m., with a second round of auditions for adults and teenagers 14 and older Jan. 23 at 4 p.m. Participants should prepare a song and bring sheet music (accompanist provided) or CD accompaniment.

Roles are open to all members of the community with opportunities for performers of many ages, including mature performers. Technical (sound and lighting) as well as crew and backstage opportunities are also available.
