Auditions hosted for fall shows

The Illinois Valley Community College Theater department will have its second day of auditions at 6 p.m. Aug. 31 in the Cultural Centre.
The audition is for all upcoming fall and winter productions.
These productions include the Story Telling Workshop with Professional Story Master, Terror in the Aisles, the Halloween Show and the Holiday Show. The Halloween and Holiday shows will also feature the Show Choir.
There will also be an Improvisation and Scene Show that will feature IVCC’s improvisation team and students from Dr. Kuester’s acting class.
The improvisation team is made up of members of the Students and Preforming Arts Music Organization. SPAMO is open to anyone interested in acting. For more information, attend the auditions.
The date for the Improvisation and Scene Show is still to be determined.
Terror in the Isles will take place on Friday, Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m.
The Holiday Show will run from Thursday, Dec. 7 until Sunday, Dec. 10 with shows at 7:30 p.m. and a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.
