A new type of competition is being waged on the IVCC campus: a food fight.

No one is slinging food in the cafeteria, though. Instead, teams of students, faculty, administrators, and support staff are collecting items for the Illinois Valley Food Pantry in La Salle.

Items are being collected through Feb. 10.

Donations for the student team should be placed in the collection box in the cafeteria.

Donations for the faculty team should be placed in the collection box located in CETLA.

Donations for the administration team should be placed in the collection boxes located in the offices of Tracy Morris, Lori Scroggs and Glenna Jones.

Donations for the SUPPORT STAFF team should be placed in the collection boxes located in the offices of Sandy Beard, Diane Kreiser and Kim Herout.

The Ottawa Center also has donation boxes for each team.

Any non-perishable food item can be donated. The food fight is organized by the IVCC Support Staff.
