Nancy Scott, a graphic arts student, has designed the new banners which are used in this edition of the IV Leader.

Scott’s banners for the front page and the sports page will be used for forthcoming issues.

Several graphic design students submitted potential artwork for the cover and back page as part of a class project.

The newspaper staff then selected from the submissions.

“While it was a tough decision, the newspaper staff liked the classy look of Scott’s design,” said Lori Cinotte, IV Leader advisor. “We are happy to be able to use student work. This allows us to update the look of our newspaper while allowing Nancy to have her work published and add to her portfolio.

“We have been glad to be able to partner with Francie Skoflanc, the graphic arts instructor, and her students.”
