Volleyball competes in regional

IVCC Volleyball sophomores (left to right), Brea Konwinski, Katie Bates, Libby Boyles, Ella Sibert, Grace Landers, Erica Antle, were recognized Oct. 11 at the team’s last home game vs.Sauk Valley.

The Eagles played McHenry County College on Wednesday Nov. 1 at Crystal Lake in the first round of their Regional Tournament.

The girls unfortunately lost the game 3-0 in a hard fought game.

Ending the regular season, the volleyball team finished 13-8 while finishing 6-4 in conference play.

Sophomore Ella Sibert led the team in both total kills and kills per set.

Katie Bates led the team in both total digs and digs per set.
