MEN’S BASKETBALL
Men’s basketball home games will now be played starting at 6 p.m. since the women’s season has been canceled.
WOMEN’S TENNIS
IVCC women’s tennis team finished 4th place at their regional tournament to conclude their season. Sophomore Alex Stremlau was awarded the sportsmanship award.
MEN’S SOCCER
The men’s soccer team, coached by Tim Cottingim, finished their season with an overall record of 11-5-1 going 1-2 in conference games and finishing the regular season on an unfortunate three game losing streak. The team had a total of 41 goals scored, averaging 2.41 goal-per game, lead by top goal scorer Tyrese Baijnath with 12 goals on the season. After two overtimes, the Eagles lost 1-0 on Oct. 28 to Kishwaukee College, bringing their season to a close in the second round of the Division II Region IV Tournament.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
The women’s soccer team finished with an overall record of 1-12 lead by top scorer Morgan Clements with 5 goals. Head Coach Gerald Stuart said on the IVCC athletic web page that the team’s record doesn’t reflect the effort and dedication the team put forth this season.
GOLF
The golf team finished their season finishing second at the conference tournament this year finishing just 4 shots back from the champions Blackhawk. The team had 7 individuals who finished in the top 15 spots which is an incredible achievement for the team and having a top 3 finisher in Jonathan Cooper finishing third.
