Although shorter than usual, IVCC’s men and women’s tennis teams were both able to have full seasons this school year. Women’s tennis, which usually takes place in the Fall, was moved to Spring so they were able to do this.

The Lady Eagles’ season consisted of three matches, two of which were won. They were also able to earn the title of regional champions.

The men’s tennis team, which typically competes in Division III for smaller schools that do not award tuition scholarships, were able to compete in Division I this year due to the Division III matches being cancelled. Division I is for community colleges that offer financial assistance to players.

As a Division I team, IVCC’s men’s team qualified for nationals and will be heading to Texas to compete soon.
