The Eagles finished up their season at 18-11 and a loss at Kishwaukee College to open regional play on Feb. 28.

To finish the regular season, IVCC defeated Olive Harvey 82-77 to prepare for the regional. Michael Murray and Corey McCrary each had 20 points for the Eagles and Alec Schwab added 19 in the win. Murray had an excellent game overall as he also collected 15 rebounds.

The Eagles split their regular season games against conference opponent Kishwaukee College, but weren’t able to finish up a rally to defeat them in the playoffs at IVCC lost 87-82.

Schwab had 24 points, Murray and JoVonn Griffin had 14 and Stephen Christopherson had 12. Murray left the game after suffering a head injury.

Christopherson, Schwab, Murray, Nick Finney, Griffin, Josh Fenoglia, and Perry Adams are all departing sophomores for the team.
