Welcome to the fall 2013 semester! As the student trustee for the 2013-2014 school year, I have the honor of being the voice of the student body on the board of trustees at IVCC. Every month I attend the board meetings addressing any concerns or suggestions from everyone on campus.
Please feel free to contact me at any time! I can be reached at [email protected] or in the student government office, which is right off the cafeteria! If you see me just walking around campus, don’t hesitate to voice your opinions…I love hearing ways to help improve anything on our campus!
I am a sophomore here at IVCC studying as a biology major to become a vet. I play on the volleyball team and participate in student government. I plan on attending University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana next fall.
I encourage everyone to get involved and find their own niche here! It’s a great place to make connections not just for now, but for the future!
At the beginning of September, the school received the keys to the new Peter Miller Technology Center to start moving things in and prepare for the grand opening in November. The counseling center, admissions and many technical programs will move into the new building.
Coming up on Sept. 11, Spirit Day will take place in the courtyard! Student Government is excited to have a great turn out this year. Food, clubs with booths and tons of fun activities are planned! Come on out with all your friends and enjoy the fun!!
