Illinois Valley Community College has reached its enrollment projections this year, reflecting increases in enrollment since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mark Grzybowski, IVCC’s Vice President of Student Services, worked alongside the college’s admissions and records, financial aid, and cashier offices to make the enrollment process efficient.
At IVCC’s Spring 2024 In-Service early last month, Grzybowski revealed that IVCC is at 100 percent regarding budgeted credit hours with over 46,500 credit hours registered.
During IVCC’s most recent board meeting, Feb. 8, college officials shared that enrollment numbers for the upcoming 2024 Fall semester are expected to increase up to 108% of budgeted credit hours.
IVCC has not only had an increase in credit hours but also in overall student head count. The current enrollment status is at an increase of nearly 10% so far.
“We had 2,513 students at this time last year. Currently, we are at 2,757 students,” IVCC’s Director of Admissions and Records Tom Quigley said.
Students will be asked to register for upcoming semesters through IVCC Self Service rather than WebAdvisor. IVCC Self-service can be accessed from the college’s homepage and at https://ssprod.ivcc.edu/Student/Account/Login?ReturnUrl=%2fStudent
Summer registration begins April 10 and Fall registration begins April 11.
