Illinois Valley Community College is celebrating its 100th anniversary on April 24, 2024! The goal is to celebrate 100 events from now until April 24, 2025. The first event was the Investiture, and the second event was the basic needs drive. After talking to our President, Tracy Morris, “The goal was to collect 100 items and we ended up collecting over 1,000!” 

According to Dr. Morris, “Thank a Teacher! Thank a Staff Member! kicks off this month. This is an initiative for current and former students to thank someone at IVCC (past or present) who has made a difference in their lives. We will be displaying these starting at the end of November. In Bright Space and all over campus you may recognize a little “revamp” of the college’s logo. Our Theater Events and Technical Coordinator, Chad Brokaw, has designed the 100th anniversary logo. “We have a great team from across the campus working to develop events and opportunities to celebrate our history” says Dr. Morris.
