Several Black History Month Events scheduled

Several events have been planned in February to celebrate Black History Month.

The winners of the Martin Luther King Writing Contest will be announced on Feb. 24. From 12:30-1:30 p.m. in C-316. The winners will read their entries and be recognized. Pizza and soda will be served.

Another event is scheduled for noon Wednesday, Feb. 26 in the Cultural Center. The improvisation comedy duo CoMeTrY will perform.

In addition, the Soul Food Buffet was held on Feb. 19. Another Black History Month event may be scheduled in March.
