Registration for summer classes begins Tuesday, April 2, and fall registration begins the following week.
Online registration begins first at 8 a.m. through WebAdvisor.
Then, at noon, students can go in to the Admissions and Records office for in-person registration.
Finally, at 2 p.m., students can call the Admissions and Records to register by phone. The phone numbers are 815-224-0447, 815-224-0448, 815-224-0449, and 815-224-0436.
Students should have a list of the course names, numbers and sections they plan to enroll in when they call for phone-in registration.
Students must also be prepared to give their name, address and Social Security number or IVCC student ID number.
Director of Admissions and Records, Mark Gryzbowski said that prior to registration, current students should make sure their Webadvisor accounts are updated and their information is verified.
Once that is completed, students can set up a preferred schedule to register online at 8 a.m. April 2 if they wish.
Some summer classes fill quickly, so students are advised to register as soon as possible, according to Gryzbowski.
In addition, students are advised to make appointments with counselors as soon as possible to set up their schedules.
Fall 2013 registration begins at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9. As with summer registration, fall registration starts online through WebAdvisor.
Then, registration continues with in-person at noon and phone registration at 2 p.m.
If classes are full, students are able to gain a position on a wait list.
