For fans of Adam Sandler and his early work, “Hubie Halloween” feels like a homecoming as Sandler brings back his famous “idiot” persona to the screen.

The character which Sandler plays, Hubie, is the local boy who cried wolf, calling the police when anything suspicious may be happening. As such, the police no longer take his complaints seriously and disregard him. So when Hubie witnesses what he believes to be the workings of werewolf, it is up to him to investigate and try to put an end to its viscous rampage.

This film is not a must see, but for those looking for a fun, stupid, and Adam Sandler fueled Halloween movie, this definitely will hit the spot.
