“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” will reel you in with witty banter and keep the audience on the edge of their seats with a great story line and nonstop action.
“The Winter Soldier” starts off just like all Marvel sequels thus far showing what the heroes have been doing since the events that took place in “The Avengers.”
“The Winter Soldier” focuses on what Captain America wants to do with his life either working for S.H.I.E.L.D and being just a soldier or going his own way and being more than just what he was made for. At the same time of the Captain’s conflict a new antagonist arises, a deadly assassin named The Winter Soldier.
The first time we meet The Winter Soldier is during an attempt on Nick Fury’s life that leads The Winter Soldier and Captain America to have a small showdown on the roof.
This altercation makes it look like Captain America has met someone stronger and faster than him.
After this point everything picks up and sets the fast paced tone for the rest of the movie.
This movie is not just simply action either. It really plays off of the complexity of the characters and their emotions about the world and themselves.
This movie will bring back some old characters that everyone knows, including Nick Fury and Black Widow from “The Avengers” and introduces the new characters, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
This is one of the best Marvel movies that I have seen, and I definitely recommend it.
The movie sets up more storylines for the Marvel Universe and sets the stage for a third sequel with an even more intense storyline for it. Before seeing this movie, it is an absolute must to watch the first “Captain America” because this film plays off of that storyline.
Finally, like all other Marvel movies, stay through the credits, so you can get a sneak peak for what the next problem will be for Captain America and possibly the rest of The Avengers.
