After a fun, hot summer of high-wasted shorts, maxi skirts, pastels, and crop tops; what can we fashion forward college ladies expect next?  Fall is lurking around the corner.  Here’s a few ideas how to look cute from head to toe; whether you’re attending class, getting cozy with you man, or getting weird at a bonfire!

This spring/summer we saw a lot of stripes and polka dots, time to put that in the back of the closet!  This fall you’ll be seeing a lot more plaid (tartan).  Prominent European designers, Chanel and Stella McCartney are leading this movement with their runway pieces.  From scarves, jackets and blouses, plaid is on the rise and is a great way to look cute and comfy.

2013 was the year of the peplum cuffed sleeve and tube tops, and they are sticking around.  This amazing style has been seen on well-known people like Kim Kardashian and Victoria Beckham.  If I lost you after Kim Kardashian, hear me out.  This style of top can be worn casual or dressed up, if you are a girl with a boyish figure, this is a great way to give the illusion of curves.  The peplum top cinches at the waist giving the body that hour glass shape that we all want.  To top it off (pun intended) put on a hat!  It can be a surfer cap, fedora, French beret, or a beanie.  This is a practical, affordable, and cute way to pull your look together.  If you’re wearing an urban outfit put on a red beanie for a fierce pop of color or where a playful beanie that looks like a cupcake.  Either way people will be obsessed!
