Those who have roles in the Company are Tammy Schrowang, Adrienne Van Horn, Rhodes Garland, Richie Eccles, Kyle Russell, Jessie Winchel, Cheriz Kunkel and Norma Little.
“Xanadu” follows the journey of a magical and beautiful Greek muse, Kira, who descends from the heavens of Mt. Olympus to Venice Beach, Calif., in 1980 on a quest to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time – the first roller disco! But, when Kira falls into forbidden love with the mortal Sonny, her jealous sisters take advantage of the situation and chaos abounds.
“Xanadu” is based on the Universal Pictures’ cult classic movie of the same title, which starred Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly.
“Xanadu” will be performed over two weekends in April. Show dates are April 19, 20, 21, 25, 27 and 28. Friday and Saturday shows are at 8 p.m. and Sunday shows are at 2 p.m.
Don Grant Zellmer is the director of the Musical. The show will be performed at St. Bede Academy because of the construction on the Peter Miller Community Technology Center.
