Lady Eagles basketball make it to Regional finals

After advancing to the semi-finals of the NJCAA Region IV Tournament, the IVCC Lady Eagles season ended with a record of 22-9.

In preparation for the tournament, IVCC demolished Olive Harvey on Feb. 23 77-13 to finish up the regular season.

Sydonia Daniels led the team with 18 points, Arnisha Thomas added 14, and Brytney Bennett had 13. All three of them had over 10 rebounds in the game and Kara Kistenfeger added 7 assists in the win.

After defeating Black Hawk 84-67 to open regional play, IVCC lost to Elgin 65-62 to end their season.

Thomas and Joselynn Castelli are the departing sophomores for the Lady Eagles.

Kistenfeger finished the season leading  Division II in assists with 8.1 per game
