A long-time IVCC employee died April 26 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Kristyne Curley, 52, of Peru was an Information Technology Programmer for 27 years.

She was known for her love of her family, cooking, as well as playing with her cats that she rescued after finding a mother and three kittens on the IVCC campus. She was often playing cards in the cafeteria during lunch with her coworkers and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Curley, who is the Facilities Supervisor at IVCC.

Private services were arranged by Mueller Funeral Home in Peru.
