The Student Government Association held elections April 6-7 in the Student Life Center to select sophomore positions for the 2017-2018 school year. Freshman Nick Needs won the presidency for next year.

“I’m very excited for this coming year,” Needs said. “Looking at this group, I feel confident that we will have a productive and fun year.”

Matt Pehoski won for student trustee, Lauren Tomasson is the new vice president, the treasurer is Parker Weber and Brianna Legner is the secretary. Brianna Lau won sophomore representative and the sophomore programming board winners are Adrian Perez and Quincie Weber.

Cory Tomasson said he is very happy with the voting turnout this year. He also said that a few of the members have been involved in SGA this year and the new members are involved with other campus organizations.
Tommason said he thinks the group will “continue the exceptional work that this year’s members have performed.”
