The 2016 IVCC Job Fair is quickly approaching on April 21.

Many employers have already signed up and there are many more to come. The types of industries that these employers are from include, but aren’t limited to, design, manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, hospitality, textiles, financial, human services, broadcasting, marketing, electrical, welding, and staffing agencies.

On April 12, the Career Center at IVCC is holding two workshops entitled “Navigating the Job Fair.” Those will be between noon and 12:45 p.m. and again at 5-5:45 p.m. in Conference Room CTC 201. Attendees need to sign up for the workshop by registering at www.collegecentral.com/ivcc or calling the Career Services at 815-224-0502.

Also on April 12, the Career Services will have workshops to help write resumes. Registration is also required by the website or by phone because there can only be up to three people per appointment. Those are at 1pm, 2, 3, 4, and 6 p.m. Individual appointments will not be held after April 7.
